Welcome!

Well, this is your formal welcome to the Big Give Australia!

After being run in Canada for many years, our team of six individuals have made the decision to bring this movement of generosity to the Great Southern Land. Our country is stricken with poverty and sickness, and we do not have to travel far to see the physical and emotional needs many have. Even more so, it is our hope we can answer to the spiritual needs of those around us by sharing the grace and comfort found in the Gospel. It is a blessing to be able to provide unconditional giving to those who need it most as our Heavenly Father does for us.

" In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive'" Acts 20:35

It is our hope that every last Saturday in November, churches across Australia hold a free event on their premises where food, services, entertainment and more are distributed freely across various communities. Churches interested have the opportunity to register from August 1st. It is then up to each individual church to organise a team of volunteers to collect donations, create stalls, and put their creative hats on!

Our team has been working hard to create an accessible website which includes an abundance of resources.
